Ivy Faith Har­ris of Al­bany and Jay Christo­pher Chupp of Ox­ford were mar­ried June 7 at Gil­lionville Bap­tist Church, Al­bany with the Rev. Tim Chupp, fa­ther of the groom, of­fi­ci­at­ing.

The bride is the daugh­ter of Mr. and Mrs. Jef­frey Dou­glas Har­ris of Al­bany and grand­daugh­ter of Mr. and Mrs. Tom Evans, Mr. and Mrs. Martin Lewis Har­ris and the late Bet­tye Beaver Har­ris. The groom is the son of the Rev. and Mrs. Tim Chupp of Ox­ford and grand­son of Mr. and Mrs. Mor­ris Chupp and Mr. and Mrs. James B. Howard.

The bride was given in mar­riage by her fa­ther. She wore a white one-piece strap­less gown. The bodice fea­tured a sweet­heart neck­line and hand-em­broi­dered with crys­tals and sil­ver thread. The em­broi­dery was fea­tured on the tulle skirt and trailed down the cathe­dral-length train. Her finger­tip veil was em­bel­lished with crys­tals. She car­ried a bou­quet of hot-pink ger­bera daisies with white wild­flow­ers and green­ery and an an­tique linen hand­ker­chief given to her by her grand­mother, Mrs. Benita Evans.

Serv­ing as ma­tron of honor was Mrs. Lind­sey Gid­dens Ste­wart of Al­bany. Bridesmaids were Mrs. Re­bekah Au­man Long of Perry, Miss Ashley Brooke Dun­can of Sar­a­land, Ala., and Miss Hanna Mae Chupp and Miss Mar­cie Kay Chupp of Ox­ford, sis­ters of the groom.

Serv­ing as best man was Mr. Peter An­thony My­ers of Lo­ganville. Grooms­men were Mr. Jaime Greene of Bain­bridge, Mr. Matthew Christo­pher Chupp of New­born, cousin of the groom, Mr. Matthew Ben­jamin Ste­wart of Al­bany and Mr. Joseph Ed­ward Fasier of Mill Val­ley, Calif.

Greeters were cousin of the groom Miss Cassie Lynn Chupp of New­born, Mr. Ashley Long of Ma­con, cousin of the bride Miss Sa­vanna Raine Har­ris of Mo­bile, Ala. And Mr. Travis Au­man of Al­bany.

Mu­sic was pro­vided by Mrs. Nicole Wasendorf of Rut­ledge on pi­ano and Mrs. Mike Sauls of Al­bany and Miss Ashley Brooke Dun­can of Sar­a­land, Ala., as soloists.

The re­cep­tion was held in the fel­low­ship hall of Gil­lionville Bap­tist Church with mu­sic pro­vided by Mrs. Mer­rie Beth Eubanks, harpist, and Mrs. Linda Wil­liamson, vi­o­lin­ist.

The cou­ple hon­ey­mooned in Seat­tle, Wash., and now re­side in Al­bany where the bride is a Doc­tor of Ve­teri­nary medicine em­ployed by Bush An­i­mal Clinic and the groom is a con­trac­tor in the field of forestry and wildlife man­age­ment.
