Christ­mas in Mon­tana sounds good to me

Here we are, mid­way through De­cem­ber and a lot his hap­pen­ing in the sports world. The Fal­cons are de­cent — maybe with a shot at the play­offs, the Hawks are com­ing off a big win over Cleve­land, and the Arena Foot­ball League just shut down. What? No AFL this year? Many of you out there, my­self in­cluded, won’t even miss it. Sure, the AFL has a group of fans — some­where, but se­ri­ously, how did it make this long?

In all hon­esty, the AFL looks fun as hell to play. It re­minds me of play­ing Nerf foot­ball in the street out­side of my house when I was grow­ing up in Cal­i­for­nia. We used to have some killer games.

I’d ei­ther play all-time quar­ter­back or re­ceiver and we’d al­ways get the neigh­bor­hood kid who couldn’t catch to rush the quar­ter­back. Talk about some high­scor­ing games.
