Christmas in Montana sounds good to me
Here we are, midway through December and a lot his happening in the sports world. The Falcons are decent — maybe with a shot at the playoffs, the Hawks are coming off a big win over Cleveland, and the Arena Football League just shut down. What? No AFL this year? Many of you out there, myself included, won’t even miss it. Sure, the AFL has a group of fans — somewhere, but seriously, how did it make this long?
In all honesty, the AFL looks fun as hell to play. It reminds me of playing Nerf football in the street outside of my house when I was growing up in California. We used to have some killer games.
I’d either play all-time quarterback or receiver and we’d always get the neighborhood kid who couldn’t catch to rush the quarterback. Talk about some highscoring games.
Sideline catches were the best. We had about a 12-inch section of concrete that would run between the curb and the
