If a new cell phone tops your holiday shopping list, give East Metro Cellular a ring.
“A cell phone is a gift that lasts the whole year through,” said Kelly Queen, manager.
East Metro Cellular’s flagship store in Covington has been open since 2000, and since that time, the company has opened five additional locations.
“We have two in Conyers, one in Madison, one in Monticello and one in Eatonton,” said Queen. “And this location will be moving across from QT after the first of the year.”
The store carries a wide selection of Verizon Wireless cellphones, includingthisyear’s hottest phones, the Blackberry Storm, the LG Voyager and the LG Dare.
“They are all touch screen phones. The Blackberry is an e-mail capable phone and has advance features for searching the mobile Web. The Dare has a high resolution camera and several advance features that allow you to customize the phone. And the Voyager flips open and have a full qwerty keyboard,” said Queen.
The store also carries Verizon’s newest phone, the Samsung Omnia.
“It is a full touch screen Windows mobile device and it’s also a wi-fi capable phone,” said Queen. “And it has an awesome 5-megapixel camera.”
Just in time for holiday gift giving, East Metro Cellular has the Voyager on sale for $99.99 after a mail-in rebate and the LG Dare is $129 after a $50 mail in rebate. Customers can also receive a used Samsung 340 for free with a 2-year agreement.
