Some ac­com­plish­ments:

- Formed groups in the Jamestown Com­mu­nity to feed chil­dren in the sum­mer, held Bi­ble stud­ies in her front yard

- Took care of her mother and sev­eral broth­ers and sis­ters un­til their deaths

- The last of seven sib­lings, she is the key that holds the many branches of the fam­ily tree to­gether

- Still tries to cook and feed the fam­ily dur­ing hol­i­days and church func­tions

What the nom­i­na­tor said: “We should be cook­ing for her, but that’s her per­son­al­ity, to take care of ev­ery­body and not worry about her­self.”
