To ex­plore the fallen snow. An ice­man forms with­out de­lay. His masters gig­gle and stare. The drifter re­grets he can’t stay And leaves his garb pud­dled there. Frosty frol­ics end with a hush; Moist mit­tens are hung to dry. The crusty ground melts to a mush;

A sea­son signs-off, “Good-bye!”
