“Have there been power outages? Ice everywhere and Snapping Shoals keeps sending me power. I’m warm, happy and on the computer... but post icestorm stories are going to be pretty dull if all I have to complain about is we ran out of hot chocolate on day 3.”

June McDowall

“Georgia has many companies with dump trucks & many with Bob Cat, complete with treads & graders that could break up the ice. Naturally there are many companies with equipment to build and/or repair roads. Has government considered hiring some of them to clear the ice & snow?”

Cathy Glow

“Are yall actually working ? I know the news still have to be told!!!”

Michelle Simpson

“Conyers Wal-Mart is closing at 3:00 today! It must be really bad out there for that to happen!”

“Please please send some one to Spears RD in Mansfield, Ga... to scrape our road... we are stuck!!!!”

Scarlett Lee

“I think the schools should be closed tomorrow and friday, we have to deal with melting ice and snow during the day and then it refreezes on the roads at nite causing black ice my child is too valuable and her life is not going to be at risk due to poor decisions! as is everyone’s child. the NCSS needs to make their decision.”
