Stephen­son Fam­ily Get Week’s Va­ca­tion

Ma­son Stephen­son, son of Mr. and Mrs. Don­ald Stephen­son, is the newly elected pres­i­dent of the Latin Club at New­ton County High School, and was cho­sen to be one of 12 Latin stu­dents in Ge­or­gia to be given a week’s va­ca­tion with his fam­ily at Ida Ca­son Gar­dens, guests of the Call­away Foun­da­tion.

At 6-foot-5, 240 pounds, New­ton’s Calvin English ruled the gridiron with an iron fist. He has been se­lected to com­pete in the Ge­or­gia Ath­letic coaches As­soica­tion North-South All-Star Foot­ball Game.

Cov­ing­ton’s Hor­ton at for­eign bar­gain­ing ta­ble

For Kantrail Hor­ton the chance to play pro­fes­sion­ally over­seas would be a worth­while chal­lenge. “It’s tax free and they’ve of­fered me a car, cable TV and an apart­ment.”
