YOUR TURN

I think that this news story is nothing more than the words of an ignorant, predjudiced white man. To exclude any community... from history is an utter outrage. We as a community do not wish to push any agenda on you, we do not wish to recruit you. We wish to live our lives in a world of acceptance, and not a world filled with hate. The only way that the hatred that this community often faces will end is through education. We are not the scary monsters that many make the gay, lesbian, bisexual, and transgender community out to be. We are people who live in small towns, we are teachers and we are nurses. All we want to do is live our lives, and to be acknowledged as contributing citizens to the history, present, and future of this nation..
