Bet­tye Trib­ble, of Ox­ford, passed away Aug. 4 at Abbey Hospice in So­cial Circle. The daugh­ter of Dr. and Mrs. E.L. Trib­ble, she was born in 1923 in Mon­roe. Ms. Trib­ble was a lov­ing and de­voted mother, aunt and friend; she was also a long­time mem­ber of Allen Memo­rial United Methodist Church.

Ms. Trib­ble is sur­vived by her daugh­ter Carol Trib­ble Hill of Al­pharetta; lov­ing friends Kay Gos­sage of Ox­ford, Jo Hu­son of Cony­ers and Martha Usry of Sta­ple­ton; neph­ews Bill and Bob Trib­ble; great-nieces Kristi Conde, Lynn Ay­ers, Jan­ice Smith, Jen­nifer Trib­ble, Camille Townsend; niecein-law Rose­mary Trib­ble; great neph­ews Mark Trib­ble, Doug Trib­ble, Cameron Trib­ble and Jack Trib­ble; nu­mer­ous great-great-nieces and -neph­ews.

Funeral ser­vices were held yes­ter­day, Aug. 7 at J.C. Har­well and Son Funeral Home. In­ter­ment fol­lowed at Lawn­wood Memo­rial Park. In lieu of flow­ers those de­sir­ing may make con­tri­bu­tions to Abbey Hospice, 215 Aza­lea Court, So­cial Circle, GA 30025.
