AHS to host PROBE Col­lege Fair in Sept.

New­ton County School Sys­tem will host a PROBE Col­lege Fair at Al­covy High School on Wed­nes­day, Sept. 5, from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. in the school com­mons area. All New­ton County School Sys­tem high school students are in­vited to at­tend.

PROBE is the or­ga­nized col­lege fair tour that at­tracts rep­re­sen­ta­tives from non­profit ed­u­ca­tional in­sti­tu­tions to shop­ping malls, civic cen­ters and high schools throughout the state of Ge­or­gia. Ap­prox­i­mately 70 col­leges and tech­ni­cal col­leges will be rep­re­sented at this year’s New­ton County PROBE Fair.

Dur­ing the PROBE fair, students and par­ents will have the op­por­tu­nity to speak with col­lege rep­re­sen­ta­tives on top­ics such as fi­nan­cial aid, hous­ing, pro­grams of study, ad­mis­sions re­quire­ments, schol­ar­ships and cam­pus life.
