ev­ery game hop­ing to be able to win it. We know that we have some tough com­pe­ti­tion com­ing up. We had a great sum­mer and we worked ex­tremely hard and we feel like we can go out there and com­pete with ev­ery­one on our sched­ule.”

Af­ter a 6-4 sea­son last year, coach Allen made it quite clear in what ex­pec­ta­tions he has for his team go­ing into this sea­son.

“Our ma­jor ex­pec­ta­tion this year is to get into the playoffs and make a deep run,” Allen said. “We have been right on the brink the last cou­ple of years, and we want to make sure we have the abil­ity to take our pro­gram to the next level.”
