So­cial Circle fair be­gins Tues­day

It’s time once again for the an­nual kick-off of fall — the So­cial Circle Fair.

Open­ing of Sept. 4 and go­ing through Sept. 8, the fair is lo­cated be­hind So­cial Circle High School/Mid­dle School.

Ad­mis­sion is just $1, or you can pur­chase a wrist band for $20 and ride ev­ery day, all day on all rides. Pre­sales are avail­able for $15 at the Bank of So­cial Circle, Pin­na­cle Bank and So­cial Circle ACE.

Gates open at 6 p.m. on Sept. 4-7, and at 3 p.m. on Sept. 8.

Along with the spec­tac­u­lar rides and food avail­able, there is also nightly en­ter­tain­ment from 7 to 10 p.m.

Open­ing night there will be gospel mu­sic; Wed­nes­day night, the So­cial Circle High School Band and the So­cial Circle The­atre Play­ers will pro­vide the en­ter­tain­ment; Thurs­day, mu­sic will be pro­vided by The Apos­tles of Bluegrass; Fri­day, it’s The Sandy Bot­tom Band; and Satur­day, the fes­tiv­i­ties will con­clude with The Emily McCan­non Band.

The fair will have daily he­li­copter rides, pony rides on Fri­day and Satur­day and free Ge­or­gia Child Iden­ti­fi­ca­tion reg­is­tra­tion on Fri­day.

The fair is spon­sored by the Rotary Club of So­cial Circle. All pro­ceeds ben­e­fit the So­cial Circle High School fund and other rotary projects.
