Fam­ily fun at the fair

Chil­dren of all ages en­joyed rides and games this week in So­cial Circle as the city held its an­nual fair.

The fair was opened Sept. 4 through Sept. 8 and was lo­cated be­hind the So­cial Circle High School/ Mid­dle School.

The an­nual event fea­tured food, rides, games, pony rides, daily he­li­copter rides and nightly en­ter­tain­ment.

Some of the en­ter­tain­ment in­cluded: the So­cial Circle High School Band and the So­cial Circle Theater Play­ers pro­vided the en­ter­tain­ment on Wed­nes­day; Thurs­day, mu­sic was pro­vided by The Apos­tles of Bluegrass; Fri­day, was The Sandy Bot­tom Band; and Satur­day, the fes­tiv­i­ties con­cluded with The Emily McCan­non Band.
