Lawsuit against widow of daycare shooter dismissed
DECATUR (AP) — A lawsuit filed in DeKalb County seeking to seize some of the assets of the widow of an entrepreneur gunned down outside a suburban Atlanta preschool in 2010 has been dismissed.
Prosecutors had filed suit against a New York bank where Andrea Sneiderman deposited money she got from insurance policies following the death of her husband Rusty Sneiderman.
Prosecutors said in court Wednesday they had determined the branch where Sneiderman deposited the roughly $2 million is in Fulton County. Prosecutor said they’ve gotten an order from a Fulton County Judge to refreeze Sneiderman’s assets.
Prosecutors said she plotted with her former boss Hemy Neuman, to kill her husband. Neuman admitted to the killing and was sentenced in March to life in prison. Andrea Sneiderman has denied involvement in the murder.
