Law­suit against widow of day­care shooter dis­missed

DE­CATUR (AP) — A law­suit filed in DeKalb County seek­ing to seize some of the as­sets of the widow of an en­tre­pre­neur gunned down out­side a subur­ban At­lanta preschool in 2010 has been dis­missed.

Pros­e­cu­tors had filed suit against a New York bank where An­drea Sneiderman de­posited money she got from in­sur­ance poli­cies fol­low­ing the death of her hus­band Rusty Sneiderman.

Pros­e­cu­tors said in court Wed­nes­day they had de­ter­mined the branch where Sneiderman de­posited the roughly $2 mil­lion is in Ful­ton County. Pros­e­cu­tor said they’ve got­ten an or­der from a Ful­ton County Judge to re­freeze Sneiderman’s as­sets.

Pros­e­cu­tors said she plot­ted with her for­mer boss Hemy Neu­man, to kill her hus­band. Neu­man ad­mit­ted to the killing and was sen­tenced in March to life in prison. An­drea Sneiderman has de­nied in­volve­ment in the murder.
