I-20 is 83% complete
Georgia Department of Transportation Commissioner Downing Musgrove has announced that 901 miles or 78.3 percent of the state’s Interstate Highways are now open to the traffic.
Another 138 miles are currently under construction, the Commissioner added.
State DOT road designers have an additional 87.3 miles of Interstates on the drawing board.
A total network of 1,150.5 miles of the super-fast roadways are planned for Georgia. Work has already been completed on I-24, I-59, I-285 and I-475.
