Mrs. Josie Free­man Mullins died June 28. She was born in 1912 and was the daugh­ter of Mr. and Mr. Web­bie (Eva) Free­man.

In 1933, she was united in mar­riage to Mr. Dean Mullins and from this union, they daugh­ters and one son. She was pre­ceded in death by her hus­band Mr. Dean Mullins, daugh­ters Lil­lie and Elsie and brother T.N. Free­man.

She leaves to cher­ish her mem­o­ries, chil­dren Mr. and Mrs. Grady (Sue) Mullins, Mr. and Mrs. Thomas (Dorothy) Lowe, Ms. Eva Perry and Mr. and Mrs. Don­ald (An­nelle) Har­ris; brother Mr. Moses Free­man; sis­ter Ms. Lenora Free­man; nephew Mr. and Mrs. Leon (Car­rie) Free­man; 13 grand­chil­dren; 21 great-grand­chil­dren, three great-great-grand­chil­dren; and a host of other rel­a­tives and friends.

Fu­neral ser­vices were held yes­ter­day, July 2, at Po­plar Hill AME with the Rev. Ahmed - ing. In­ter­ment fol­lowed in the church ceme­tery. Fam­ily and friends were pall­bear­ers and
