Area AAMCO earns national cus­tomer ser­vice hon­ors

AAMCO of Cony­ers re­ceived the Su­perla­tive Cus­tomer Re­la­tions Achieve­ments award for the sec­ond year in a row at the com­pany’s May 2013 re­gional con­fer­ence.

Only eight cus­tomer ser­vice awards were given out na­tion­wide among the 800 AAMCO stores, and the Cony­ers store was the only one in the South­east re­gion to be rec­og­nized.

To be con­sid­ered for the award, an AAMCO lo­ca­tion must not have any com­plaints on its record from the pre­vi­ous work year.

The AAMCO in Cony­ers opened two decades ago and has been un­der Bobby Aber­crom­bie’s own­er­ship for more than three years.

“It was very sat­is­fy­ing,” Aber­crom­bie said.

“I felt sat­is­fied for the cus­tomers and the staff.

“You have to put the cus­tomers first.’’ he said. “Your pri­mary goal has to be mak­ing the cus­tomer happy; oth­er­wise it just doesn’t work.”
