J. C. Harwell & Son Funeral Home
Kas Kusmider, 65, of Loganville passed away Jan. 5, at his residence. He was born in Germany in 1948, the son of the late Boleslaw and Sophie Kusmider. Mr. Kusmider served in the United States Army and worked as a - sota and as a truck driver for Brown Trucking in Lithonia. He was of the Catholic faith and was a member of St. Pius Catholic Church in Conyers.
Mr. Kusmider is survived by his daughter, Donna Marie Kusmider of North Carolina; his dear friends and caregivers Herfa Jones of Conyers, Yvonne Palmer of Ellenwood, and Sandra Ferguson of Covington, along with the staff at Assured and Associates Caregiver Agency. He is also survived by his brother, John Mitchell Kusmider of Daytona Beach, Fla.; his sister, Mary Christine Kusmider of Daytona Beach; and many nieces, nephews, other family members and close friends.
Funeral services for Mr. Kusmider will be held at 4 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 9, at the Chapel of J.C. Harwell and Son Funeral Home. There will be a gathering of friends from 3 to 4 p.m. A guest book can be signed online at www.harwellfuneralhome.com.
