Kas Kus­mider, 65, of Lo­ganville passed away Jan. 5, at his res­i­dence. He was born in Ger­many in 1948, the son of the late Boleslaw and So­phie Kus­mider. Mr. Kus­mider served in the United States Army and worked as a - sota and as a truck driver for Brown Truck­ing in Litho­nia. He was of the Catholic faith and was a mem­ber of St. Pius Catholic Church in Cony­ers.

Mr. Kus­mider is sur­vived by his daugh­ter, Donna Marie Kus­mider of North Carolina; his dear friends and care­givers Herfa Jones of Cony­ers, Yvonne Palmer of El­len­wood, and San­dra Fer­gu­son of Cov­ing­ton, along with the staff at As­sured and As­so­ci­ates Care­giver Agency. He is also sur­vived by his brother, John Mitchell Kus­mider of Day­tona Beach, Fla.; his sis­ter, Mary Chris­tine Kus­mider of Day­tona Beach; and many nieces, neph­ews, other fam­ily mem­bers and close friends.

Fu­neral ser­vices for Mr. Kus­mider will be held at 4 p.m. Thurs­day, Jan. 9, at the Chapel of J.C. Har­well and Son Fu­neral Home. There will be a gath­er­ing of friends from 3 to 4 p.m. A guest book can be signed online at www.har­well­fu­ner­al­home.com.
