Ms. Cher­man Durham (Tink) died Jan­uary 5, 2014. She was born Jan. 6, 1974, in Covington, to Mrs. Vi­vian Jack­son and the late Mr. Kenny Thomas.

She was af­fec­tion­ately known as “Tink” to fam­ily and friends. Our beloved Cher­man at­tended New­ton County High School. She was a very lov­ing and car­ing per­son, al­ways help­ing whomever she could and was a very giv­ing per­son. She en­joyed spend­ing time with her kids, es­pe­cially her grand­daugh­ter, fam­ily and friends.

She was pre­ceded in death by one brother, Mr. La­mar Lawrence; grand­par­ents, Ms. Ruby Lee Hec­tor, Ms. Eve Thomas, Mr. Willie Lee Durham and Mr. Willie James Thomas; un­cle, Mr. Willie Durham; and one aunt, Ms. Nora Durham.

God called her home leav­ing to cher­ish her mem­o­ries four beau­ti­ful chil­dren, Erica Cole, Cher­misha W. Roberts, La­cosha B. Free­man, and her baby, Treyvo­rious Stodghill; a lov­ing mother, Mrs. Vi­vian Jack­son; her grand­daugh­ter, Eri­anna Belcher; brother, Mr. & Mrs. Kenny Durham; sis­ter, M s . Molisa Keisha Lawrence; two de­voted sis­ters, Ms. Shunta L. Gibbs and Ms. Michelle Devoe; four aunts, Mrs. Min­nie Mae McGee, Mrs. Ad­die Brown, Ms. Linda Lee Durham, and Ms. Geral­dine Durham; three un­cles, Mr. Willie Al­bert Durham, Mr. Joe Lewis Durham, and Mr. John Lee Durham; seven nieces, Ms. Carolina Wise, Ms. Keyanna No­tae, Ms. Key­wan­der Weaver, Ms. Mar­lexia Mad­dox, Ms. Makiya West, Ms. Kenedi Cle­mons, and Ms. Kendyl Durham; three neph­ews, Mr. Ken­qua­vi­ous McCol­lum, Mr. Kievin Rhodes and Mr. Ka­mar­ian Durham; and a host of other rel­a­tives and friends.
