Mr. Herbert Marvin Beasley, of Cov­ing­ton, passed away on Jan­uary 18, 2014, at the age of 67. A hard worker and great provider for his fam­ily, he worked as a dump truck driver for Jimmy Har­ris Truck­ing. He was car­ing, un­der­stand­ing, and de­pend­able. What­ever he com­mit­ted to, he would do. He was also an out­doors­man and en­joyed go­ing to the drag races in Eatonton. Mr. Beasley was pre­ceded in death by his brother, J.T. Beasley.

Sur­vivors in­clude his wife, Edna Joyce Beasley of Cov­ing­ton; daugh­ter, Crys­tal Beasley, and son, Herbert David Beasley, both of Cov­ing­ton; neph­ews, Ricky Beasley of New­born, Ron­nie Beasley of Mon­ti­cello, and Don­nie Beasley of Man - tina Beasley Huse­man of Cov­ing­ton; and sis­ter-in­law, Myr­tle Beasley.

In ac­cor­dance with his wishes, he will be cre­mated. A me­mo­rial ser­vice will be held at a later date.
