Cov­ing­ton cel­e­brates its 2013 re­tirees with re­cep­tion

The City of Cov­ing­ton held its re­tire­ment re­cep­tion Thurs­day evening hon­or­ing the 19 for­mer em­ploy­ees who made 2013 their swan song.

The evening started with re­fresh­ments as con­ver­sa­tions and mem­o­ries were shared with the re­tirees.

City Man­ager Leigh Anne Knight then pre­sented the honorees, who were in­tro­duced by their man­agers and pre­sented awards by Mayor Ron­nie John­ston.

Re­ceiv­ing framed cer­tifi­cates upon their re­tire­ment were Wil­liam Skin­ner, Michael Turner, Steve Hor­ton, An­nette Munoz, Tommy Hai­ley, James Hick­man, Fred­er­ick Leav­itt, Arvo Bowen, Brenda Han­cock, Rickey Vaughn, Thomas Wil­son, Wil­liam Womac, David Carter, Bill Meecham, Ken­neth Mor­gan, Harry Davis, Charles Ramey, Diana Joseph and Ter­rel Sav­age.

The night then moved into a din­ner re­cep­tion, and pre­sen­ta­tions and gifts were given to Skin­ner, Turner, Hor­ton, Munoz and Hai­ley.
