Billy came to work for the City in 1972 as a Drafts­man in the City’s Engineering Depart­ment. He was later pro­moted to man­ager over Engineering. He was pro­moted to Trans­porta­tion Man­ager in 2007. Michael Turner

Mike came to work for the City in 1976 as a Fire­fighter. He was pro­moted to Lieu­tenant in 1984; to Cap­tain in 1993; and to Bat­tal­ion Chief in 2012. Steve Hor­ton

Steve came to work for the City in 1978 as a Po­lice Of­fi­cer. He was pro­moted to the ranks of Sergeant and Lieu­tenant. He trans­ferred to Elec­tric Line worker in 1988. In 1993, he was se­lected as the first Safety Risk Man­ager for the City. In 1996, he was ap­pointed Po­lice Chief. In 1997, he was se­lected as the Pub­lic Works Di­rec­tor. In 2004, he was ap­pointed Deputy City Man­ager and be­came City Man­ager in 2005. An­nette Munoz

An­nette came to work for the City in 1987 as a Dis­patcher / De­ten­tion Of­fi­cer. She was pro­moted to po­lice of­fi­cer in 1991. Wil­liam T. Hai­ley, Jr.

Tommy came to work for the Cov­ing­ton Newton County Recre­ation Au­thor­ity in 1989 as the Di­rec­tor. James Hick­man

Jim came to work for the City in 1990 as a Fire­fighter. He pro­gressed to Fire­fighter III and was pro­moted to Engi­neer in 2006. Fred Leav­itt

Fred came to work for the City in 1990 as a Me­ter Reader for the Elec­tric Depart­ment. He served sev­eral years as its Lead Me­ter Reader Arvo Bowen

Arvo came to work for the City in 1991 as a Po­lice Of­fi­cer. He was pro­moted to Sergeant in 1994. Dur­ing his ten­ure with the City he has served as the Range Mas­ter and Firearms Trainer, served on the DEA Task Force and been a su­per­vi­sor in In­ves­ti­ga­tions and Pa­trol Ser­vices. Fay came to work for the City in 1989 as a Com­mu­ni­ca­tions Tech­ni­cian. In 2008, she trans­ferred to the Po­lice Depart­ment as a Cus­tomer Ser­vice Rep.

Ricky came to work for the Cov­ing­ton Newton County Recre­ation Au­thor­ity in 1991 as a Recre­ation Spe­cial­ist. Thomas Wil­son

Thomas came to work for the City in 1991 as a Wa­ter Treat­ment Op­er­a­tor. He achieved all cer­ti­fi­ca­tions avail­able in wa­ter treat­ment and was pro­moted to Class I Op­er­a­tor in 1999. Wil­liam T. Womac Jr.

Tommy came to work for the City in 1992 as a la­borer in the Street Depart­ment. He was pro­moted to Equip­ment Op­er­a­tor in 1996 and later trans­ferred to the Rey­cling Center. David Carter

David came to work for the City in 1993 as a Fire­fighter. He was pro­moted to Fire In­spec­tor/ Cap­tain in 1998. In 2004 he was pro­moted to Deputy Chief Fire Mar­shal. Wil­liam Meecham

Bill came to work for the City in 1993 as its first Elec­tri­cal Engi­neer and Man­ager of its Elec­tric Depart­ment. In 1997, the Nat­u­ral Gas Sys­tem was placed un­der Bill’s di­rec­tion and Bill be­came the City’s Util­i­ties Di­rec­tor. Ken­neth Mor­gan

Ken­neth came to work for the City in 1995 as a Driver in the Solid Waste Depart­ment. In 1997, he worked on the City‘s Pub­lic Work Ac­cred­i­ta­tion project and in 1999, he be­came the Ware­house Co­or­di­na­tor. Harry Davis

Harry came to work for the City in 1998 as the Crew Su­per­vi­sor for the City’s Waste­water Ser­vice line re­ha­bil­i­ta­tion crew. Charles Ramey

Char­lie came to work for the City in 1999 as the Shop Su­per­vi­sor for the Equip­ment Main­te­nance Depart­ment. In 2001, he was pro­moted to the Equip­ment Main­te­nance Man­ager. Diana Joseph

Diana came to work for the City in 2003 as a Cus­tomer Ser­vice Rep­re­sen­ta­tive for the Ad­min­is­tra­tive Depart­ment. Terry Sav­age

Terry came to work for the City in 2005 as an Engineering Tech­ni­cian re­spon­si­ble for streets and roads. He briefly as­sumed the role of Trans­porta­tion Man­ager in 2013 prior to his re­tire­ment.
