2-4 p.m. hosted by the Women’s Di­ag­nos­tic Cen­ter of New­ton Med­i­cal Cen­ter. The com­mu­nity is in­vited to avoid the “Booby Trap” by learn­ing the proper way to per­form a self breast exam, the im­por­tance of reg­u­lar clin­i­cal breast ex­ams, as well as when and why you should be­gin hav­ing an­nual mam­mo­grams. So­cial Cir­cle In­de­pen­dence Day Cel­e­bra­tion

Pa­rade will take place at 5:30 p.m. in down­town So­cial Cir­cle, and a gospel con­cert will fol­low at 6:30 p.m., fea­tur­ing the Na­tional Guard Band and State Of­fi­cial Gospel Group “Ge­or­gia” at the High School Foot­ball Field. Fire­works will be launched at dark with a live ra­dio broad­cast on WMSL 88.9 FM.
