Morn­ing de­vo­tional be­gins at 7: 30 a. m., fol­lowed by classes for all ages are held Mon­day— Fri­day at 9: 30 a. m. on the grounds. Many of the classes are held at Salem UMC. The af­ter­noons are filled with an abun­dance of chil­dren’s ac­tiv­i­ties, such as the af­ter­noon soft­ball game. The play­ground is avail­able to chil­dren 12 and un­der as long as there is no church ser­vice go­ing on. The play­ground, porches and Salem cam­pus re­main rev­er­ent dur­ing church hours. Salem’s cam­pus is cov­ered with beau­ti­ful old trees and the tents (cab­ins) are po­si­tioned in a semi- cir­cle around the 150- year- old Taber­na­cle. Camper hook ups and bath houses are to the left of the cam­pus. The ho­tel on the camp­ground fea­tures 22 rooms, an im­pres­sive lobby, and a 125- seat din­ing room. Fam­ily style meals are served at 8: 00 a. m., 12: 30 p. m. and 6: 00 p. m. Reser­va­tions for rooms or meals at the ho­tel are rec­om­mended in ad­vance of camp meet­ing. To make a reser­va­tion, please call 770-786- 6841. Ho­tel rooms are $31.75 ($16.75 for chil­dren un­der 12). Price in­cludes room, break­fast and one other meal. Meals are $6.75 for break­fast ($4.75 for chil­dren), $10 for lunch/din­ner ($7 for chil­dren).
