Thomas Bus­bee, age 85 of Mans­field, passed away July 22, 2014. Mr. Bus­bee was a vet­eran of the United States Army. He at­tended Eastridge Com­mu­nity Church, was an avid At­lanta Braves fan and en­joyed fish­ing. Mr. Bus­bee was a won­der­ful hus­band and a good fa­ther, grand­fa­ther, great-grand­fa­ther and great-great-grand­fa­ther. He was pre­ceded in death by his par­ents, Nor­man James and Car­rie Lou­berta (Mid­dle­brook) Bus­bee.

Sur­vivors in­clude his lov­ing wife of 61 years, Mable Bus­bee; chil­dren and their spouses, Dean and Connie Bus­bee of Mans­field, De­bra and Bob Weaver of Covington, Denise and Billy Chris­tian of Clarkesville, Ten­nessee, Mike and Pam Bus­bee of Mon­ti­cello, Crys­tal and Wayne Ce­do­tal of Aiken, South Carolina; 14 grand­chil­dren; many great-grand­chil­dren and great- great- grand­chil­dren; sis­ter and brother-in-law, Hazel and Billy Stan­ley of Covington; as well as sev­eral nieces and neph­ews.

Funeral Ser­vices for Mr. Bus­bee were held Thurs­day, July 24, 2014, 3 p.m., at the Chapel of Cald­well & Cowan Funeral Home, 1215 Ac­cess Road, in Covington, with Dr. Randy Reese of­fi­ci­at­ing. In­ter­ment fol­lowed in Lawn­wood Memo­rial Park.
