GAINESVILLE, Ga. (AP) — Forsyth County authorities are searching for the last of three people who ran from a deputy who broke up an unauthorized party at a park near Lake Lanier.

County fire Chief Jason Shivers tells the Forsyth News a deputy patrolling an area near Two Mile Creek Park found a group of about 20 teens and young adults in a remote area of the park early Tuesday morning. Authorities say some members of the group were detained but the deputy heard others jump in the water.

Shivers says sheriff’s officials fear that the missing partygoer may have jumped in the lake. He tells WSB-TV investigators are concerned with the person’s whereabouts and charges haven’t been filed against anyone involved in the party.
