Mrs. T.J. Smith Dies in Gainesville, Fla.

Mrs. T.J. Smith, 84 years of age, and a res­i­dent of Mans­field for many years, passed away on March 16th, while on a visit to her daugh­ter, Mrs. Craw­ford, in Gainesville, Fla. fol­low­ing an at­tack of pneu­mo­nia.

Mrs. Smith, was a na­tive of Bost­wick, mar­ried and reared her fam­ily in that com­mu­nity.

Her re­mains were brought to Mans­field, where fu­neral ser­vices were con­ducted by Rev. H. O. Green Burial was in Mans­field ceme­tery.

She is sur­vived by four daugh­ters, Mrs. Carey and Mrs. Craw­ford, of Gainesville, Fla., Mrs. Jones, of Chat­tanooga, and Mrs. Starr, of At­lanta; and three sons, Thomas, of Bost­wick, and T.G. and U.T., of Mans­field be­sides a num­ber of grand­chil­dren.

Lo­cal ar­range­ments were in charge of J.C. Harwell and Son, fu­neral direc­tors.
