Glen Selin, 56, of Cov­ing­ton passed away Satur­day, Septem­ber 6, 2014. He was born Septem­ber 16, 1957 in Hearst, On­tario, Canada to the late Wil­liam and Edna Selin. Glen was a fun loving, hard­work­ing man. He loved life and lived it to the fullest daily. Glen loved to travel and worked for USNR as a project man­ager where he trav­eled all over the world. He was a mem­ber of the First Pres­by­te­rian Church of Cov­ing­ton and en­joyed help­ing through­out his com­mu­nity; build­ing planter boxes in Por­terdale and well houses for friends, he loved ev­ery minute of it. Mr. Selin was born and raised in Canada but im­me­di­ately be­came a mem­ber of any com­mu­nity he was in. His zest for life, his abil­ity to in­stantly con­nect with peo­ple, his love for his fam­ily and friends, th­ese are the things peo­ple will re­mem­ber of Glen for­ever.

Mr. Selin was pre­ceded in death by his son Ja­son Bell and is sur­vived by his wife Debi Selin, his son and daugh­ter-in-law Joseph and Emma Bell of Vic­to­ria, Bri­tish Columbia, his daugh­ter Ni­cole Tins­ley, of Dun­can Bri­tish Columbia, his brother and sis­ter-in-law Bruce and Ch­eryl Selin of On­tario, Canada and nu­mer­ous other fam­ily and a host of friends from around the world.

Memo­rial ser­vices for Glen will be held at 2 o’clock Tues­day, Septem­ber 16, 2014 at the First Pres­by­te­rian Church of Cov­ing­ton with Rev­erend Wil­liam B. Wade of­fi­ci­at­ing J.C. Harwell & Son Fu­neral Home and Cre­ma­tion Chapel, 2157 East Street S.E., Cov­ing­ton, GA 30014 is in charge of ar­range­ments. A guest book may be signed on-line at www.har­well­fu­ner­al­home.com
