Mitchell Reed Wright died Tues­day, March 31 at age 91, af­ter a year’s stay at Ben­ton House in Cov­ing­ton. He passed away peace­fully in his sleep. Mr. Wright was the son of the late Dr. Wil­liam Cosby Wright and Sarah Louise Camp Wright, both long-time res­i­dents of Cov­ing­ton. He is sur­vived by cousins, Charles Maxwell of An­them, Ari­zona, Margie Maxwell Swift of Selma, Alabama, and Diane Maxwell Richard­son of Birm­ing­ham, Alabama. Dur­ing World War II, Mitchell par­tic­i­pated in the D-Day In­va­sion. Af­ter the war he lived in Paris, France for most of his adult life, where he was a com­mer­cial artist. He al­ways main­tained his fam­ily home in Cov­ing­ton. A grave­side ser­vice is planned for Tues­day, April 7, 2015 at 10 AM at Cov­ing­ton City Ceme­tery. J.C.
