Quintrell Mathis was one of Eastside’s best four receivers this past season and now he’ll look to be one of Brevard College’s best after signing his letter of intent on Monday.

With the support of his friends and coaches, Mathis, a two-sport athlete, will now go to college to get an education and continue his football career. Mathis’ mother Nicole Humphrey and his aunt Sherry Clark sat next to him reminiscing about the past as they all looked toward the future.

“The best is yet to come,” Humphrey said.
