The 187th Salem Camp meet­ing kicked off Fri­day with fam­i­lies from around Ge­or­gia and the United States re­turn­ing for the week-long re­vival. The camp meet­ing at 3940 Salem Road will hold Sun­day School and ser­vices to­day, fea­tur­ing Dr. Stephen Rankin, of South­ern Methodist Univer­sity, at 11 a.m. and Dr. Benny Tate, of Rock Springs Church in Mil­ner, at 8 p.m. The meet­ing runs through Fri­day with a can­dle­light clos­ing ser­vice at 9:30 p.m.
