Man pulls gun on an­other co­worker at SKC

A man pulled a gun on a fel­low em­ployee at SKC af­ter an ar­gu­ment in the Cov­ing­ton plant early Fri­day morn­ing.

Cov­ing­ton Police Depart­ment of­fi­cers were called to 100 SKC Drive just be­fore 1 a.m. in ref­er­ence to a per­son shot. When ar­riv­ing on scene, of­fi­cers dis­cov­ered no one was shot but a weapon had been pulled.

Ac­cord­ing to re­ports, an ar­gu­ment oc­curred be­tween two men in the break room over a cell phone. The sus- pect ac­cused the vic­tim of steal­ing his phone, ac­cord­ing to the of­fi­cer’s re­port.

The sus­pect, later iden­ti­fied as Ri­cardo Clark, left the break room mo­men­tar­ily. Ac­cord­ing to re­ports, Clark punched the vic­tim in the face when he re­turned. The vic­tim got up to re­tal­i­ate when Clark pointed a gun at him.

The ar­gu­ment moved to the ware­house when Clark pointed the gun at the vic­tim again.

The case is un­der in­ves­ti­ga­tion and Clark was not on scene when the police ar­rived. Charges have been filed against Clark.
