New Butterfly Garden is lovely

The Covington News - - OPINION - Dear Editor: In my opinion, Liz Cobb Brenda Clark.

We have lived near Academy Springs Park for almost nine years, so we pass it many times a day and visit there often. The new Butterfly Garden is a lovely addition to the park and makes even the drive or walk or bike ride along Legion Drive such a pleasure. I walk in the Butterfly Garden as often as I can and each time I do, I see something new.

This is a time in our city’s “life” when space and breath are taken up with talk and writing about the filming being done or the great new things happening on the square, but for me, it is the Garden that is refreshing and good for the soul. Thanks to all the people I’ve seen out there all summer in the heat, working so hard to create the very best thing for our city in a while. embarrassing this African American young lady.

I must tell you, you didn’t break her spirit. She continued to sever others with a smile.

How would you feel if it were your daughter?

Next time you decide to act like this in public, don’t wear your shirts with the emblem on it.
