An­nual event draws crowd to Por­terdale

The Cov­ing­ton/New­ton Cham­ber of Com­merce’s Sev­enth An­nual Taste of New­ton event was a suc­cess Thurs­day evening in the his­toric Porter Me­mo­rial Gym­na­sium. Busi­nesses and res­tau­rants from all over the county pro­vided sam­plings, rang­ing from bar­be­cue to soup to dessert op­tions, to res­i­dents.
