Muk­il­teo Po­lice Chief Chuck Mack­lin has an­nounced his plans to re­tire later this month. He is tak­ing a job with Ev­erett Com­mu­nity Col­lege. The news re­cently was shared with em­ploy­ees. The mayor plans to hire an in­terim po­lice chief while a for­mal hir­ing search is con­ducted, Mack­lin said.
