Trump’s plan is to make money

The Daily Herald - - OPINION -

Will someone please tell if me I’m wrong on this issue: To Mr. Trump this general election campaign is a business venture.

He uses Trump enterprises — hotels, resorts, airplanes, sponsored products, “whatever” — for his campaign events, which then bill the Republican National Committee for their products and services.

If Donald loses the election (and I sometimes wonder if perhaps that is his plan) he will still walk away with millions of dollars in fees and royalties paid to his businesses.

No wonder Mr. Trump offers to “self-finance” his campaign.

The return on investment is probably quite generous. I wonder how much he billed the RNC for his brief visit to Mexico on Aug. 31? Dennis Hart
