Man urinated on squad car and punched officer, police say
A 27-year-old was arrested after reportedly urinating on a Dallas police squad car and punching an officer in the face in a downtown restaurant.
The officers were in Zenna Restaurant in the 300 block of North Akard Street about 2 p.m. Saturday when they were flagged down by a person who told them a man was urinating on the squad car.
The officers looked outside and saw the driver’s side window had been shattered, police said. When they confronted the man, he punched one of them in the face, police said.
William Holmes of Fort Worth was arrested and charged with assault on a public servant and criminal mischief. He was being held in the Dallas County Jail in lieu of $4,000 bail.
