Shooter sought after wounding man during possible drug deal
A gunman remained at large after wounding a man during a possible drug deal in Fort Worth late Wednesday, police said.
Officers were called to the 3000 block of Griggs Avenue, near East Berry Street and Miller Avenue, about 10:15 p.m. They found a man shot in the leg after possibly purchasing illegal drugs, police spokesman Daniel Segura said.
The man was taken to a hospital and was expected to recover. The shooter fled. No information about him had been released.
