UT Dal­las to cel­e­brate His­panic Her­itage

The Univer­sity of Texas at Dal­las, 800 W. Camp­bell Road, will host sev­eral events to cel­e­brate His­panic Her­itage Month, which runs from Sept. 15 to Oct. 15.

Here is the sched­ule:

■ Thur­dayat 6 p.m. — Bachata dance work­shop in Founders Build­ing se­cond floor atrium.

■ Sept. 27 at 7 p.m. — A pro­gram on “Re­flec­tions on Machismo: Ne­go­ti­at­ing Tra­di­tional Mas­culin­i­ties” in the TI Au­di­toirum.

■ Oct. 3 at 6 p.m. — Cumbia dance work­shop in Founders Build­ing.

■ Oct. 6 at 5:30 p.m. — Fam­ily game night in Founders Build­ing.

■ Oct. 7 from 9:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. — Lead­er­ship Day, a day of work­shops, speak­ers and ac­tiv­i­ties for UTD stu­dents.

■ Oct. 11 at 7 p.m. — Movie Night, Juarez: The City Where Women are Dis­pos­able in JO 3.516.

■ Oct. 12 at 7 p.m — His­panic Her­itage Cel­e­bra­tion in the Stu­dent Union. Learn more at ut­dal­las.edu.
