Baby unhurt in drug lab blast inside apartment
A drug lab exploded at an Arlington apartment complex less than a block from AT&T Stadium late Friday, police reported.
There were no injuries in the blast.
Arlington police arrested two people and seized 21 pounds of meth, along with money and a car.
Nancy Cruz-Rodriguez, 39, and Odalys Corrales, 18, have been charged with manufacture/delivery of a controlled substance. Corrales, who had an infant in the apartment, has also been charged with child endangerment, police said.
The explosion occurred around 11 p.m. in the 700 block of East Randol Mill Road. Child Protective Services was notified about the infant inside, KDFW (Channel 4) reported.
The explosion affected five apartments, WFAA-TV (Channel 8) reported.
