Baby un­hurt in drug lab blast in­side apart­ment

A drug lab ex­ploded at an Ar­ling­ton apart­ment com­plex less than a block from AT&T Sta­dium late Fri­day, po­lice re­ported.

There were no in­juries in the blast.

Ar­ling­ton po­lice ar­rested two peo­ple and seized 21 pounds of meth, along with money and a car.

Nancy Cruz-Ro­driguez, 39, and Odalys Corrales, 18, have been charged with man­u­fac­ture/de­liv­ery of a con­trolled sub­stance. Corrales, who had an in­fant in the apart­ment, has also been charged with child en­dan­ger­ment, po­lice said.

The ex­plo­sion oc­curred around 11 p.m. in the 700 block of East Ran­dol Mill Road. Child Pro­tec­tive Ser­vices was no­ti­fied about the in­fant in­side, KDFW (Chan­nel 4) re­ported.

The ex­plo­sion af­fected five apart­ments, WFAA-TV (Chan­nel 8) re­ported.
