DDo your kids start nag­ging you the mo­ment the last gift is un­wrapped? Are you at your wits end try­ing to find some­thing to fill their win­ter break? Have no fear, the staff at Mys­tic Sea­port once again has come to the res­cue. For nine days dur­ing late De­cem­ber and early Jan­uary, kids of all ages can release their pent up en­ergy by par­tic­i­pat­ing in ac­tiv­i­ties and tours and view­ing ex­hibits at Mys­tic Sea­port.

In its 10th year, Hol­i­day Magic com­bats the whine that all par­ents ab­hor: “I’m bored! There’s noth­ing to do!”

Kids can take a Hol­i­day at Sea Fam­ily Tour aboard the Charles W. Mor­gan, which is cur­rently docked in the Sea­port’s ship­yard.

“It takes you back to the 19th cen­tury and shows dif­fer­ent fam­i­lies out to sea and how they would cel­e­brate hol­i­days on board th­ese ves­sels,” says Erin Richard, a Sea­port pub­li­cist.
