GRISWOLD MAN CHARGED IN NORWICH SEXUAL ASSAULT

Norwich — Police on Wednesday arrested a Griswold man who allegedly sexually assaulted a female he knew.

Anthony D. Holland, 45, was charged on a warrant with third-degree sexual assault.

Police said the female, whose age was not provided, lodged a complaint against Holland in November. It wasn’t immediately clear when the alleged assault took place.

Holland, who posted a $50,000 court-set bond, is due in Norwich Superior Court on Thursday.
