Walsh’s defense of Muslims

The Denver Post - - PERSPECTIVE -

Re: “Colorado is an open, welcoming community for all,” Dec. 20 Perspective article.

On behalf of Colorado Muslims, I want to thank U.S. Attorney John F. Walsh for standing up for humanity.

Walsh wrote, “But even as we act forcefully on the very real threats that do exist, we also have to be sure that our legitimate fears do not cause us to react against an entire group of law-abiding people: the members of our MuslimAmerican communities.”

Unfortunately, these days some people want to create walls of hatred between human beings. But we can make a difference by showing respect, care and compassion for one another and tear down these walls.

We are proud ofWalsh for his stand and are thankful to him.
