Don’t compare Trump, DUI teen

The Denver Post - - NEWS - Re: Jerry Witt,

“Trump is the Affluenza candidate,” Jan. 2 Ruth Marcus column.

Ruth Marcus’ column is a foolish attempt at bemusing political analysis. She takes half the column to explain the Affluenza defense of Texas DUI teenager Ethan Couch. Her boorish commentary in explaining parallels between Couch (a teenager convicted of a crime) and Donald Trump (a successful adult businessman running for president of the U.S.) is insulting and offensive, especially to the families and loved ones of the victims involved.
