Re: “TMI is the desta­bi­lizer of world’s democ­racy,” Jan. 3 Per­spec­tive ar­ti­cle.

Last week­end your Per­spec­tive sec­tion car­ried a head­line that in­cluded “TMI,” and the ar­ti­cle below that did not ex­plain it well. Why the mys­tery? What is “TMI”?

I would ex­pect a ma­jor daily news­pa­per to re­frain from acronyms and coined ab­bre­vi­a­tions, es­pe­cially in head­lines. If you don’t have enough room to use real English, that’s easy to fix. If you don’t have enough ink, get more!
