Coro­ner’s of­fice IDs two teens killed in crash near stock show grounds

The Den­ver coro­ner’s of­fice has re­leased the names of two men who were killed ear­lyWed­nes­day morn­ing in a rollover near the Na­tion­alWestern Stock Show.

Cody Gray, 19, and Jor­dan Aerts, 18, were pro­nounced dead ear­lyWed­nes­day morn­ing af­ter the one- ve­hi­cle crash on the 5000 block of Pack­ing House Road.

An au­topsy of Gray de­ter­mined that he died of blunt- force in­juries dur­ing the crash at 2: 52 a. m., ac­cord­ing to a news re­lease from the coro­ner.

Aerts died of blunt- force in­juries and po­si­tional as­phyxia, the news re­lease says. Den­ver po­lice have in­di­cated that ex­ces­sive speed may have con­trib­uted to the crash.
