Coroner’s office IDs two teens killed in crash near stock show grounds
The Denver coroner’s office has released the names of two men who were killed earlyWednesday morning in a rollover near the NationalWestern Stock Show.
Cody Gray, 19, and Jordan Aerts, 18, were pronounced dead earlyWednesday morning after the one- vehicle crash on the 5000 block of Packing House Road.
An autopsy of Gray determined that he died of blunt- force injuries during the crash at 2: 52 a. m., according to a news release from the coroner.
Aerts died of blunt- force injuries and positional asphyxia, the news release says. Denver police have indicated that excessive speed may have contributed to the crash.
