A colorful mix at DU’s Myrhen Gallery

through march 6. The ex­hi­bi­tion “Learn­ing to See Color” is a ma­jor event at the Univer­sity of Den­ver’s Vicki Myhren Gallery. The sweep­ing show pairs well­known fig­ures in the univer­sity’s art col­lec­tions with con­tem­po­rary artists who ex­plore color in their works. In the mix: Charles Par­tridge Adams, Josef Al­bers, Car­mon Colan­gelo, Ren­luka Ma­haraj, Robert Rauschen­berg, Mario Reis, Nor­man Rock­well and Sandy Skoglund. To ac­com­pany the ex­hibit, the gallery has cu­rated col­lab­o­ra­tive vis­ual and per­form­ing events with the Clyf­ford Still Mu­seum, Red­Line and the New­man Cen­ter. Through March 6. 2121 E.
