Snedeker grabs Sony Open lead

B honolulu » Brandt Snedeker had a 5- un­der 65 and never came se­ri­ously close to a bo­gey to build a one- shot lead mid­way through the se­cond round of the Sony Open.

Snedeker, play­ing-Wa­ialae for the first time in eight years, was at 12- un­der 128.

He played the open­ing two rounds with Kevin Kis­ner, who didn’t see enough putts go in un­til the last hole. Kis­ner rolled in a 12- foot ea­gle putt for a 66.
