Copper Mountain will host the fifth annual WinterBike race on Jan. 23. This family-friendly event will include a Strider LittleBike and JuniorBike before the traditiona­l night mountain bike race around the resort. Snow artists from around the world will compete in this year’s Internatio­nal Snow Sculpture Championsh­ips in Breckenrid­ge, Jan. 26-30. The Grand Lake Chamber will host its Winter Carnival on Feb. 7 from 9:30 a.m. to midnight. The second annual Cupid’s Revenge Snowshoe Race will be held in Winter Park on Feb. 14. The 4-mile, timed snowshoe and trail shoes race starts at 10 a.m. in Hideaway Park and winds through the old Idlewild Ski Area.
