Copper Mountain will host the fifth annual WinterBike race on Jan. 23. This family-friendly event will include a Strider LittleBike and JuniorBike before the traditional night mountain bike race around the resort. Snow artists from around the world will compete in this year’s International Snow Sculpture Championships in Breckenridge, Jan. 26-30. The Grand Lake Chamber will host its Winter Carnival on Feb. 7 from 9:30 a.m. to midnight. The second annual Cupid’s Revenge Snowshoe Race will be held in Winter Park on Feb. 14. The 4-mile, timed snowshoe and trail shoes race starts at 10 a.m. in Hideaway Park and winds through the old Idlewild Ski Area.
