Starbucks stirs up some fun every week, no coffee involved. Every Tuesday, the ubiquitous coffee shop releases its “Pick of the Week” — a free downloadable song, book, game or app. Just stop by and pick up each week’s redemption card. (No purchase necessary for you non-coffee drinkers.) The “Pick of the Week” card can usually be found near the register or pickup counter. If not, ask a barista for assistance. The value of the download ranges from 99-cents to $19.99 and more. One recent app was worth $34.99. For even more convenience, you can also receive notice of the weekly download via the Starbucks app. star

January is National Soup Month and it’s the perfect time to slurp on the hot dish. Customers can enjoy On The Border’s chicken tortilla soup on the cheap. Through Jan. 31, purchase a bowl of Chicken Tortilla Soup at regular price ($5.29) and, for just $1 more, make it endless. The Mexican restaurant offers other values with its Endless Enchiladas on Mondays, Taco Fix Tuesdays (with tacos starting at $2) and free endless chips and house-made salsa served all day, every day. onthebor

Pancake lovers will flip for this deal. IHOP’s popular all-you-can-eat pancakes promo is back, through Feb. 14. Get the deal by ordering one of the combo meals with two buttermilk pancakes and eggs, hash browns and your choice of sausage, bacon or ham. Then, pancakes are served two at a time until the customer is “full.” Diners may also choose a stack of five buttermilk pancakes as the main course. The syrupy sweet promo is available at participating locations, starting at $4.99. The best part is that IHOP serves breakfast all day, so you can batter up for savings whenever the craving hits.
